I have knowledge of many as i do have 10+ years experience in audio engineering 4 of those years learning and trying to master Logic Pro. The great thing about music is when the creative mind takes over and you can never know enough to stay sharp and in game. I'm curious if there's any other Omnisphere 2 users out here with this problem or am I alone here. Omnisphere keeps causing both Logic X and Cubase 8 to crash overtime I go into the Multi Browser and use the File Directory Mode. If i then exit the File Directory using the 'X' in the upper left corner, the DAW crashes.
I sorted out that issue by updating Omnisphere so that Logic X would see it. So far, so good.
Now, though, I cannot find/use the Omnisphere patch that I used when I originally made the Ableton Live set. Do I need to export the Omni patch from Live so that I can then open it up in Omni in Logic? I haven't figured out how to do that, if so. I would have thought that all my old Omnisphere patches would still be available in the new version, even if I open it up in another host.
This is probably a pretty basic question, but I'm still learning my way around the applications.
