Recording Glitch. Looking for some help identifying a glitch in a recording I made a couple of days ago in Studio One Pro. The recording was three channels (2 mics on guitar and separate mic for vox). The glitch was on all three tracks and happened only once in about 45 minutes of recording. Dec 02, 2016 At times the board with send a major glitch into the system and shut down all outputs. The board remains on but the glitch kills any and all audio throughput. The only resolution is to reboot the system. After the last spike, the system has failed to come back. Has anyone experienced this with other 16.4.2 mixers.

Apr 07, 2019 Studio One Pro 4, Faderport 1, Atom, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Maschine Studio, Octapad SPD-30, Roland A300, Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, also running it on Mac OS Catalina via dual boot (experimental). Intel i9 9900K, 32GB RAM, EVGA Geforce 1070 (Nvidia drivers).

Just hooked up a FireBox that I got today. To my laptop with Studio One Pro.
I am getting little glitches in the playback. Latency settings don't seem to matter, as it's the same at the lowest and highest settings. I'm using a VIA PCMCIA firewire card, chipset VT6307/VT6308. I've used this in the past with an M-Audio Firewire 410 without any trouble.
A couple things to note.. In Studio One, when I switch the sound card to the internal sound card, playback is smooth with no problems. Only with the FireBox do I get the glitches.
BUT, if I simply play some MP3's thru Windows Media Player thru the FireBox as Windows sound card, it's smooth, no glitch.
The only glitchy combo is Studio One and the FireBox. Both seem to be able to function fine without each other.
In fact, I just imported the same audio files into a Reaper session, and the playback is smooth and AOK.
I monitored the latency with DPC Tool, and a video link is below of that so you can see the meter spiking. I'm also attaching a picture of my IRQs. Thanks!
